Distribution of Simplicity Roles and Services.

The standard Simplicity roles and services have been distributed across the servers as illustrated in the following table.

Web & App Server.

 

Server:

For every new client implementation you will set up a new development, test and production website.

In your environment you will have one implementation of the system websites. These websites provide web services that are common and utilised across all your client implementations.

For every new client implementation configuration files are updated with the relevant information about the new client implementation.

In your environment you will have one implementation of the utilities and processes. These utilities and processes are common and utilised across all your client implementations.

For every new client implementation configuration files are updated with the relevant information about the new client implementation.

For every new client implementation a new desktop application will be set up.

 

Ana, Dev & Test DB Server.

 

Server:

For every new client implementation you will set up a new development and test database.

For every new client implementation that is a new site/country implementation for an existing client then you may either use the existing client's analytical database or create a new analytical database.

For every new client implentation that has no previous site/country implementation then a new analytical database will be set up.

 

OLTP DB Server.

 

Server:

For every new client implementation you will set up a new production database.

In your environment you will have one implementation of the system databases. These databases provide repositories that are common and utilised across all your client implementations.

For every new client implementation, records within these databases are updated with the relevant information about the new client implementation.

 

Australia - New Zealand
